FingerFriendlySoft is a small company located in beautiful Bodø in the north of Norway. We develop software for the iPhone and iPod touch with a special focus on usability.
We emphasize high quality in every step of the development cycle: professional design, professional coding, extensive testing and active support.

We follow Apples guidelines with respect to usability. In addition, we specialize in creating finger friendly interfaces that minimize the amount and accuracy of finger usage. Our goal is to make applications that can be used by everyone. You'll never feel the need for a stylus with our products.

Master Chess is based on a custom made, world class chess engine, tailored to the limited processing capacity of the iPhone and iPod touch. Unlike most other engines, it is not targeted at heavy duty computers, but is designed to perform well with scarce resources. Is hard to beat given just 3-5 seconds per move. Give it a few seconds more and it becomes really mean.
It has all the features you expect from a modern Chess game: unlimited undo, auto move, position flip, and multiple skill levels.

Pocket Balls is a Snooker-like game tailored to the small screens of iPhone and iPod touch. The board is seen from above just as on TV. You get to shoot the balls with high a degree of precision in an unprecedented realistic physics simulation.
Pocket Balls is much easier to learn than more comprehensive games, such as Billiards, Pool etc. If you just want to play balls without the complexities of these games, this is the one for you.

Bubble Shot. You're looking at the coolest Bubble Breaker game on the planet. Take a look at the demo video to see for yourself.
Your objective is to break as many bubbles as possible at the same time, hence you want to group bubbles together so that you can break them all in one single shot. You can read more about this in the Wikipedia article on Same Game.
Bubble shot is fully compatible with the most widespread variants of this game: Chain Shot (the original), SameGame, Jawbreaker and Bubblets. In addition it has the following features:
Connect Five goes under many names. In some countries it is called "Five in a Row", "Fünf in eine Reihe" etc. In other countries it has been given names suggesting simplified versions of chess, e.g. "Farmers Chess" , "Vagabond Chess" etc. The game originates in China where it is called "Gomoku".
There are two players. In western countries the game is typically played on a piece of squared paper. In Asia is usually played on a 15x15 square board. The players alternate in setting their marks/pieces on the paper/board. The first player to get five symbols in a row wins the game.
This game has a elegant, finger friendly interface. It uses a square size of 32x32 pixels which is about the minimum size that can be selected with a reasonable amount of precision. All interaction is based on well known gestures:
Colorizer brings color to your art projects, interior designs, publications, web sites and so on.
There is no such thing as an ugly color. The challenge is to find the right combination of colors - and this is where Colorizer may become an essential tool for you as an artist.
You start out with an image that conveys the emotion or atmosphere you want to create in your project. You then use Colorizer to analyze the image. It will extract up to 14 dominating colors. For each of these colors it will find suitable nuances based on classical color theory. You now have a palette that you can use to reproduce the essential qualities of the original image.
You can use images from your photo album or import pictures directly from the the camera (iPhone only).
In addition, Colorizer comes with 55 pre-installed images that can give your project a real jump-start. The set is organized into 11 themes and includes photos from renowned photographers all over the world.

N-back Suite is a collection of n-back tasks customized to your iPhone or iPod touch.
In short, an n-back task consists of a number of stimuli (letters, images, sounds etc.) occuring at regular intervals. Your task is to remember the n'th stimulus before the current one. If the current stimulus is the same as the n'th one before, you press a button and score a few points.
Performing n-back tasks is a scientifically proven techique for improving your working memory. Everyone can benefit from n-back training, regardless of age and previous skills. The N-back suite may well be used for occational doses of brain stimulation. The best results, however, will be achieved through more disciplined training schedules. With 20-30 minutes of daily exercise, most people will see significant improvements in 2-3 weeks.
